Does the balance expire?
A gift card you buy never expires, and there are no fees to buy it, hold it or spend it. Cards we give away as part of a promotion are marked as promotional and can carry an expiry date, which is shown in the card email.
Does the recipient need an account?
No. The card arrives by email with a code and a PIN, and both go straight into the gift card box at checkout.
Can they spend part of it?
Yes. Whatever is left stays on the card for next time, and the balance page shows what remains at any point.
Can I choose the day it arrives?
Pick any date within the next year, or leave it blank to send it as soon as your order is paid. Some cards are reviewed before they send, which can hold delivery up by as much as a day.

Contact us. As long as the balance has not been spent, we can cancel that code and reissue the remaining balance to the right address.
Does it work alongside a discount?
Yes. A gift card is a way to pay rather than a promotion, so it comes off the total after any discount or offer on the order.
Can a gift card buy another gift card?
No. Gift card balance can’t be spent on more gift card balance.
Can a gift card purchase be refunded?
Only while the card is completely unused, and the refund goes back to the original payment method. The gift card terms have the detail.
