1. These terms

By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, along with our shipping, returns and privacy policies. "We" and "us" means Ascend Dermal. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Products

Our products are cosmetics for external use on the skin. Descriptions and images are for information, and packaging may vary slightly. Please read the ingredient list and our use and safety guidance before use.

3. Orders and pricing

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm your order by email.
• All prices are in US dollars (USD). Taxes and shipping, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay.
• We may correct pricing or description errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund.
• If an item sells out after you order, we refund that item in full.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout. Card details are entered into secure, encrypted fields and are never stored on our servers. Our payment security page has the details.

5. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered by our shipping policy and returns by our returns and refunds policy. Both are part of these terms.

6. Promotions and discount codes

• Discount codes and promotions are valid only for the period and products stated in the offer.
• Unless stated otherwise, one code per order. Codes can't be combined and have no cash value.
• Some promotions apply automatically at checkout, such as a discount for buying different products together, a friend's referral discount on a first order, or an offer made after you complete an order.
• Only one promotion applies to an order. When a code and an automatic promotion both qualify, the larger discount applies. Member pricing, where offered, is not a promotion and still applies.
• Gift cards and free gifts don't count toward a promotion and aren't discounted by one. Items bought in a limited drop at a set price don't count unless the drop says otherwise.
• Codes can't be applied to orders that have already been placed.
• Free gifts are available while supplies last and may be swapped for an item of similar value.
• If you return an order that used a promotion, the refund reflects the discounted price you paid.
• We may change or end a promotion at any time without affecting orders already placed, and may cancel orders that misuse a code.

7. Rewards

• If we run a rewards program, how points are earned, how long they stay pending and what they are worth are shown on our rewards page.
• Points have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred. They can be redeemed for store credit from your account while you are signed in.
• If an order is refunded, the points it earned are reduced in proportion to the refund. If it is charged back, they are removed. Points you have already redeemed aren't taken from points you earn later.
• We may withhold or remove points gained through misuse, such as duplicate accounts.
• We may change or end the program. Store credit you have already redeemed points for is not affected.

8. Refer a friend

• If we run a refer-a-friend program, customers who have completed an order can share a personal link. The friend discount, its minimum order and the credit you receive are shown in your account.
• The friend discount is for a new customer's first order and can't be combined with another promotion.
• A referral doesn't qualify when the friend is the referrer under another name or email address, or orders from the same address or internet connection as the referrer.
• Referral credit is added after a hold period shown in your account, and is canceled if the friend's order is refunded or charged back before then.
• Referral credit is limited per referrer in any 12 months, and we may withhold credit gained through misuse.

9. Memberships and subscriptions

If we offer a paid membership or Subscribe & Save, its price, billing interval, benefits and cancellation terms are shown on the signup screen before you enter payment details. Both renew automatically until canceled, and you can cancel at any time from your account. A refund of a subscription charge also ends that subscription.

10. Acceptable use

Please don't interfere with the site, access accounts or data that aren't yours, scrape it in a way that slows it down, or use it to break the law.

11. Intellectual property

The content, imagery and copy on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided as is, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the products that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one published here when you place your order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which our business is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
